UTEP Men’s Golf’s Foley Tied First after 36 Holes on Day One at Bomb Darts Birds Intercollegiate Monday Afternoon

PHOENIX, Ariz. – UTEP fired a 554 (-22), finishing sixth overall, and Patrick Foley (132) is tied for first place after two rounds at USC's Bomb Darts Birds Intercollegiate at Whirlwind Golf Club (par 72 | 7,222 yards) on Monday.
 
Foley shot a 66 in round one, matching the score in round two, tying with USC's Jaden Dumdumaya (64-68—132). Foley has penciled in 13 birdies, the second most in the field. He recorded seven in round one, followed by another six in round two, including an eagle at 12 (par 5, 611 yards). 
 
The Miners (277-277-554) overall are 13 strokes behind leader Santa Clara (265-276—541). NM State (270-272—542) is second, host USC (269-274—543) is third, Stanford (280-269—549) is fourth, and Arkansas State (274-279—553) is a stroke in front of UTEP.
 
UTEP newcomer Luke Harwick (67-69—136) is tied for 13th. He's recorded 10 birdies.
 
Valentin Luna (71-71—142), competing as an individual, is tied for 51st
 
Freshman Julien Dulait (72-70—142) made his collegiate debut, also tying for 51st
 
Marc Keller (73-72—145) is tied for 68th, and Alexandre Godin (72-75—147) is tied for 75th
 
Tuesday's final round will tee off at 7:45 a.m. PT/8:45 MDT (shotgun start).
