C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll (2018, 2017, 2016)

2017-18 (JUNIOR): Finished with an overall singles mark of 5-19 and notched three doubles victories … took down NM State’s Rebecca Keijzerwaard 6-3, 7-6 (0-1) at the Halloween Howl, hosted by New Mexico … paired with Lois Wagenvoort at the No. 2 doubles position to defeat UTPB’s Fernanda Orona and Maria Briones 6-3 … earned a clutch three-set win over Angelo State’s  Virginie Becht.

2016-17 (SOPHOMORE): Wrapped up her sophomore year with a 6-15 overall singles record and a 3-5 doubles record ... went 4-9 in tournament play ... tallied a 2-3 record at the no. 6 position ... earned a win over No. 3 Marshall's Nikola Novackova 6-3, 6-3 in the conference tournament. 

2015-16 (FRESHMAN): Finished the season with a 6-13 overall record in singles … earned her first collegiate victory by defeating Audrey Spencer from Western New Mexico in straight sets (6-2, 6-1) … defeated SMU's Macie Elliott 6-3,6-4.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Registered three wins in two tournaments (five matches) in 2013 … tallied seven victories in various tournaments during the 2011 and 2012 seasons … in 2013 at the $10,000 Bogota, she defeated Nelly Garcia-Sanchez, 6-2, 6-1, in the round of 16, while tallying a triumph over Steffi Carruthers, 1-6, 6-1, 6-4.

PERSONAL: Full name is Maria Paula Medina Blanco …has one brother … daughter of Henry Medina and Gelsabeth Blanco … born in Sogamoso, Colombia.
