2014 Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll
2016 (SENIOR): Finished with a mark of 11-19 in singles...went 1-1 in Conference USA action…played mostly at No. 5 singles, where she went 6-4…finished 6-10 in dual matches and 5-9 in fall tournaments in singles…in doubles action, she finished the season with a 14-15 overall record…paired up the majority of the season with Raven Bennett, where they went 10-10 as a team, including a 5-7 mark in dual matches and 5-3 in tournament matches.
2015 (JUNIOR): Fashioned a 14-14 overall singles record, including an 11-5 dual match mark … 1-0 at No. 4, 2-1 at No. 5 and 8-4 at No. 6 … won eight of final 10 singles matches during the spring season … forged a 15-11 overall doubles record, including an 8-7 dual match mark … went undefeated (5-0 at No. 2) with teammate Duda Santos during the spring season, while finishing with an overall doubles record of 6-1 … won both Conference USA matches, defeating UTSA’s S. Madroñal Medina, 6-2, 6-0 (3/1) and Southern Miss’ Kathrin Waidner, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 (3/29) … won final six regular season singles matches that included a victory over rival NM State’s Marie Thiffault, 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 (4/11) … efforts helped UTEP produce its best-ever winning percentage (.706) in a single season.
2013-14 (SOPHOMORE): Forged a 13-19 overall singles record and 12-20 overall doubles mark ... posted a 5-5 singles mark during the fall season ... claimed two singles wins, including a victory over Western New Mexico's Diamond Morrill, 6-0, 6-1, in the Taos Flight in the 2013 Aggie Invitational to secure runner-up honors ... won two singles matches, including a win over Northern Arizona's Jordan Denesik, 7-5, 7-6, to advance to the championship match at the 2013 Lobo Fall Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. ... after a slow doubles start during the spring, she teamed up with Gabi Vazquez to fashion a 9-5 dual-match doubles record (1-0 at no. 2 and 8-5 at no. 3) ... the duo won their first six matches, including a win over Conference USA foe Southern Miss' Karina Gurgenyan and Kathrin Waider, 8-1, at the El Paso Tennis Club.
2012-13 (FRESHMAN): One of two Miners to play as a true freshman ... led all freshman in wins as she posted an 8-13 record ... won four matches at the No. 5 spot, three at the No. 6 spot and was victorious in her only match at the No. 4 spot ... had won four of five singles matches from Feb. 22 - March 10 ... compiled a 5-4 record at No. 3 doubles with Anastasiya Sylenko ... part of a spring squad who won 12 matches and post an undefeated home record (6-0).
PRIOR TO UTEP: Played at Brighton Secondary College in Australia.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Wallace and Shaunne Tench ... has one brother (Mitchell) and one sister (Amber) ... her aunt, Dorothy Bisset, was an ice skating champion as she was a two-time bronze medalist at the World Professional ice dancing championships in the late `70s ... sports captain and peer support leader in high school ... nickname is Tilly ... born in Melbourne, Victoria ... kinesiology major.
