C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll (2017, 2016 & 2015)

2017: Played and started in first two games of the season … recorded a tackle at no. 7 Oklahoma …  suffered season-ending injury.

2016 (JUNIOR): Saw action in the final three games (two starts) after missing the first nine contests due to injury … registered five tackles … tallied a pair of stops at Rice … recorded three tackles during a season finale victory against North Texas.

2015 (SOPHOMORE): Saw action in the first three games before suffering a season-ending injury … recorded a career-best four tackles in the season opener against Arkansas. 

2014 (FRESHMAN): Participated in six contests as a true freshman on special teams and defense ... tallied five tackles (two solo) ... registered a season-best three stops during a win over rival NM State ... had two tackles at Kansas State ... suffered injury at LA Tech, while sitting out the next two games ... returned to action against Southern Miss and North Texas.

PRIOR TO UTEP: After a dominant junior season Elsner was double teamed most of his senior season, recording 76 tackles (63s/13a), with 25.5 tackles for loss and 14 sacks ... also contributed three forced fumbles, four blocked punts and five pass breakups ... opened the 2013 Wisconsin High School Football Playoffs with 12 tackles, 4.5 sacks and 2.5 tackles for loss in a dominating 45-14 win over Medford ... had an all-around game posting 2.5 sacks, eight tackles (five solo), three tackles for loss, one pass breakup and one blocked punt during a 57-13 victory over Fox Valley Lutheran ... named WFCA Defensive First-Team All-State ... AP All-State honorable mention ... helped Thunder forge a 10-3 record in final season ... during junior season racked up 17.5 sacks, with 51 stops (36s/15a) ... had three forced fumbles, one blocked kick and one pass breakup ... opened the 2012 season with a dominating four-sack performance and five stops in a 35-0 win over Marinette ... sacked the quarterback three times and tallied eight tackles during a 13-7 victory over Hortonville ... recorded three sacks in a 48-0 win over Ripon ... earned first-team All-Bay Conference honors.
