2017 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 13 contests, including earning a pair of starts ... tallied two goals to go along with one assist for five points on the season ... put away a chance in the 8-0 rout of New Mexico Highlands (9/13) ... added an insurance tally in UTEP's 2-0 vanquishing of Marshall (10/19) ... credited with an assist against Abilene Christian (8/20) ... set a season high for shots (three) in the game against the Thundering Herd ... recorded a campaign-best two shots on goal at both NM State (8/18) and vs. Marshall ... logged a career-high 85 minutes against the Agggies.
2016 (FRESHMAN): Played in 11 contests, scoring once while adding two assists ... UTEP had a +11 goal differential (18-7) in those games ... blasted home a shot from 10 yards out to give the Miners some breathing room with her first collegiate goal in a 2-0 win at Incarnate Word (9/9) ... credited with an assist in UTEP's 1-0 victory vs. UTRGV (9/18) ... also added a helper on against Southern Miss (10/28) ... earned a then career-best 29 minutes of action in the 2-0 victory vs. Nevada (9/16).
PRIOR TO UTEP: Competed with Mexico at the 2014 U17 Women's World Cup, with the squad becoming the first in the country's history to advance to the quarterfinals at that event ... included in the run were victories against China and Colombia ... participant of the CONCACAF tournament November 2013 Montego Bay, Jamaica, where the team beat the United States in the semifinals and Canada in the finals to win the first crown in women's history ... attended the Mexican National Team tryouts in 2013 and was immediately recruited for the U17 squad ... in midst of senior season at Socorro HS ... has helped the team claim both District and Bi-District championships in three straight seasons ... secured All-District first team accolades as a sophomore and junior ... was recognized as the Rookie of the Year after scoring 29 goals to help her squad advance to the area playoffs as a freshman ... also has been involved with Galacticas F.C. since the age of 11.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Maria Gojara and Jesus Villalobos, who have always supported her throughout her career ... gives thanks from the bottom of her heart to all her coaches in general but specially to Coach Jaime, Javier and Leo for always believing in her talent and the potential to reach her goals ... started playing soccer at the age of five.
