2017 All-Conference USA Honorable Mention

2017 (SENIOR): Started all 12 games in only season with Miners … ranked third on the team with 65 tackles (career high during collegiate career) … earned All-Conference USA honorable mention ... totaled 30 solo stops … added 2.0 tackles for loss, a breakup and two quarterback hurries … posted career-high eight tackles against WKU … in first three games with the Miners, recorded seven tackles at no. 7 Oklahoma, seven versus Rice and another seven stops, while adding a pass breakup against Arizona … registered seven tackles with a hurry against UTSA … credited with seven more stops at North Texas … registered six stops and a tackle for loss on ‘Senior Day’ versus LA Tech … recorded four tackles and a hurry at Southern Miss … notched five stops at Middle Tennessee and a pair of tackles at UAB to end season. 

PRIOR TO UTEP: Played in all 13 contests during redshirt junior season at Wake Forest … posted 12 tackles (six solo), 3.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, a pass breakup, a quarterback hurry and a forced fumble … chalked up a pair of sacks (17 yards), a forced fumble and five tackles in season opener against Tulane … tallied a sack (five yards) and a pair of tackles at Indiana … recorded two tackles versus Virginia … registered a pass breakup against no. 23 Temple in the Military Bowl … tallied four solo tackles in 2015 … recorded six special teams tackles and seven stops in 11 games in 2014 … played high school football at Dothan (Ala.) High School; registered 141 total tackles (110 solo), seven sacks and 33 tackles for loss during senior season (team MVP) in 2013.
