2017 (SENIOR): Played in all 12 games and made one start … saw action on special teams and defense … notched 20 tackles (11 solo), one tackle for loss and one quarterback hurry … matched career-high five tackles versus Arizona and Southern Miss … posted three stops at no. 7 Oklahoma … recorded a pair of tackles versus Rice and North Texas.

2016 (JUNIOR): Played in all 12 games … recorded 24 tackles (12 solo) … added 1.5 tackles for loss (five yards), 0.5 sack, a fumble recovery, two quarterback hurries and a blocked kick … ranked tied for second on team with five special teams tackles … opened campaign by setting season-high with five tackles and notched a quarterback hurry during a win over rival NM State … matched season best with five more tackles and chipped in with a tackle for loss at no. 11 Texas … tallied three stops and a hurry against Southern Miss … registered two stops during a win over Houston Baptist … recorded a tackle and fumble recovery at Florida Atlantic … recorded two stops at Rice and two more during a dominant triumph against North Texas.

2015 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 11 games on defense and special teams … notched 12 stops (eight solo), three tackles for loss (21 yards), two sacks (20 yards), one forced fumble and a pass breakup … recorded a season-best three solo tackles versus Texas Tech … posted first sack of the season for 12 yards against Old Dominion … registered tackles versus Arkansas, Incarnate Word, FAU, Southern Miss, Old Dominion, LA Tech, North Texas and Texas Tech. 

2014 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in three games as a true freshman ... registered quarterback hurry against Southern Miss.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Three-year varsity starter at La Marque High School ... had a huge senior season ... honors included 24-3A District Defensive MVP, second-team All-Greater Houston (Houston Chronicle) and second-team All-State (Padilla poll) ... registered 59 tackles, 10 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, five quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in 2012 ... two of the recoveries were returned for touchdowns ... was a first-team All-District 24-4A member as a junior ... good all-around athlete who also played basketball and was on the track & field team ... quality student who sported the highest GPA for all varsity student-athletes at his school and was a first-team All-Academic selection as a senior.
