2017 (SENIOR): Made a start against LA Tech on ‘Senior Day’. 

2016 (RS JUNIOR): Started season as a defensive back, before moving back to wide receiver position … played in 11 contests … recovered a blocked punt for first career touchdown during a season-finale victory against North Texas … registered three tackles during the season … drew a passing interference call on a deep throw that helped lead to a touchdown during a 5OT win at UTSA.

2015: Redshirted ... made the switch from wide receiver to defensive back.

2014 (SOPHOMORE): Participated in nine games ... rushed for six yards on one carry against rival NM State ... helped lead team to New Mexico Bowl, its first since 2010.

2013 (FRESHMAN): Participated in four games at the punter position ... tallied 238 yards on six punts (39.7 average) ... kicked two punts for 96 yards, including a season-best 51-yard boot, during a win at rival NM State ... recorded 73 yards on two punts at Colorado State.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Starter for Chapin High School in El Paso ... tabbed the 2011 El Paso Times All-City Performer of the Year ... other 2011 honors included first team All-District 4-A at the wide receiver position and was named honorable mention All-State by the Texas Associated Press Sports Editors ... the Huskies finished 9-3 overall, winning the district championship ... registered 52 receptions for 1,004 yards and 10 scores as a senior ... state finalist in the triple jump.

PERSONAL: Parents are Maurice and Kenya Drake ... has one brother and two sisters ... born in Long Beach, Calif. ... graduated with a degree in marketing ... pursuing a Master of Art in Leadership Studies.
