2017 (JUNIOR): Made seven starts in 12 contests played … led UTEP defense with two touchdowns – a 52-yard pick-six and a 45-yard scoop-and-score … ranked seventh on the defense with 46 tackles (30 solo) … tied for team lead with two interceptions … added three pass breakups … ranked tied for 21st in FBS with two fumble recoveries … picked off a pass at Army and returned it 52 yards for a touchdown … registered career-high nine tackles and returned a fumble 45 yards (longest fumble return in Conference USA during season) for a touchdown at North Texas … tallied seven tackles with a fumble recovery and pass breakup against LA Tech … recorded a pass breakup and five tackles at Middle Tennessee … credited with five tackles against Arizona and four stops at rival NM State … recorded an interception and six tackles at Southern Miss … notched seven stops and a breakup at UAB.
