2017-18 (JUNIOR):
Recorded a 3-10 record, playing only in the spring…notched two wins at the No. 2 spot in singles play and three wins at the top doubles position for the Miners…recorded back-to-back wins over NAU’s Brandy Walker (5-7, 6-3, 10-2) and UTPB’s Amelie Saint-Dizier (6-0, 6-1)…took down Angelo State’s Yasmine Ansari in straight sets (6-3, 6-0) at the No. 2 position… teamed with Lois Wagenvoort to get a 6-2 conference win over LA Tech’s Karla De La Luz and Andrea Perez-Lopez at No. 1 doubles.

2016-17 (SOPHOMORE): Finished sophomore season with a 15-10 overall record (5-5 dual, 10-5 tournament)... registered a straight-set victory over Colorado's Brigitte Beck (6-2, 6-2) on court six to help the Miners win the match...started the fall season with an eight match winning streak which helped earn her the C-USA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Month honor (October 2016)...complied a 13-13 overall doubles record, pairing mostly with Daphne Visscher...garnered a 6-3 doubles win against Oklahoma's Serena Nash and Mimi Fotopoulos on Jan. 28...named team MVP.

2015-16 (FRESHMAN): Finished with a 15-11 singles record in her first season at UTEP…earned her first collegiate victory by defeating Elena Preadca of Tarleton State in three sets (0-6, 6-4, 7-5)…collected first conference victory against Southern Miss with a win over Claudia Castella on court five…fashioned an overall doubles record of 15-13 and finished with a 7-5 record in dual matches…named C-USA Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week on Jan. 26 after helping the Miners to a victory over Central Oklahoma and a hard fight versus Pac-12 opponent Colorado.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Competed at the Canyon Creek Super Championship Level 4, defeating Morgan Nix, 6-4, 6-3, in the opening round and besting Margo Taylor, 6-2, 7-5, in the round of 32 … advanced to the 2013-14 5A Girls Singles Tennis State Tournament in Austin, Texas after registering four wins in the Region II 5A singles championship in Waco, Texas … capped the event in Waco by defeating Joci Francis, 6-4, 6-1, in the finals … knocked off Maria Shkolnaya in the semifinals in a 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 triumph.

 

PERSONAL: Full name is Raven Nicole Bennett…began playing tennis at age six…has one sister…daughter of Gerald and Teian Bennett…born in Dallas, Texas.
