2019 (SENIOR): Made her final year in the Sun City her best one by setting season career bests for goals (three) and points (seven) … effort placed her fourth on the squad for goals and tied for fourth on the unit for points … played in 18 contests, including making 17 starts … scored in two of the first three games on the season, including netting the game winner at Grand Canyon (8/29) … posted a goal and credited with an assist to help UTEP battle Wyoming (8/22) to a 2-2 draw in the season opener … also found the back of the net in the 3-1 victory over FIU (9/22) … her three scores came on 11 shots on goal … overall registered 26 shots on the season … logged a campaign-high 86 matches in the match against Wyoming.
2018 (JUNIOR): Played in 17 contests, including one start as a forward ... etched her name on the scorer’s sheet against Lubbock Christian (8/17) in the home opener with her only goal of the season ... credited with an assist against I-10 rival NM State (9/23), helping the Miners to a 4-1 victory ... registered a shot-on-goal percentage of 0.636, with seven on target out of 11 total shots … logged a career-best 507 minutes on the season … played a season-high 61 minutes against ODU (10/21).
2017 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 15 contests, including three starts, as a forward ... scored the Miners' lone goal in the season opener at NM State (8/18) ... also buried a chance in the 8-0 romp vs. New Mexico Highlands (9/13) ... overall recorded 13 shots, including four on goal ... set a season high with two shots on goals vs. the Aggies ... credited with two shots in four different contests ... secured a career-high 73 minutes of playing time against Abilene Christian (8/20) ... the Miners were +6 (25-19) when Carreon played in a game.
2016 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 16 matches, including three starts, playing primarily as a striker ... buried a shot to beat the halftime clock and afford UTEP a three-goal lead in an eventual 4-1 win at Middle Tennessee (10/16) ... it was her first collegiate goal and came on her birth day ... posted the second-most shots (11) on the year among Miner freshmen ... started three of the first four contests before coming off the bench the rest of the way ... earned 10+ minutes of playing time in 15 of 16 games, including a career-high 63 in the scoreless draw at Abilene Christian (8/21) ... UTEP had a +15 (26-11) goal differential in Carreon's 16 appearances.
PRIOR TO UTEP: Competed with Andress HS for three years ... named the Newcomer of the Year in 2012-13 while taking home first-team All-District honors for EPISD in 2013-14 ... recognized as the Miss Soccer of El Paso in 2014-15 ... didn't play her senior season to focus and dedicate herself more to the club team ... began playing soccer at the age of eight with a team named the Arsenal Gunners ... team name later changed to Northeast Gunners before it combined with another squad to start the first women's Rush in El Paso ... played in five major tournaments, compiling a record of 12-2-2 ... scored 16 goals and credited with 15 assists in the tournaments.
