C-USA Commissioners's Honor Roll (2019-20, 2020-21)
2020-21 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE):
- Competed in all six matches.
- Posted the best season average in smallbore (565) and second-best aggregate average (1139) on the team.
- Registered two of the top four smallbore performances on the team with a 571 at Jacksonville State (10/10) and 570 versus TCU (1/29).
- Collected two of the top five aggregate performances on the team with an 1150 versus TCU (1/29) and 1144 at the NCAA Qualifier (2/20).
- Scored 570 or better in air rifle in four of the Miners' six matches.
2019-20Â (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN):
- Competed in all 12 matches after sitting out the previous season as a redshirt.
- Compiled an  average of 558 in smallbore and 574 in air rifle for an average aggregate of 1132.
- Improved throughout the year and posted her top-four efforts in aggregates over the final four matches of the season.
- Shot a career-best 1142 against TCU (2/8) before matching the tally at the Patriot Rifle Conference Championships (2/15-16).
- Scored a career-high 566 in smallbore in the final match of the year with the NCAA Qualifier (2/22).
- Eclipsed 570 in air rifle in the final seven outings and 11 times total on the season.
- Stretch to close the year started with a career-high 579 in air rifle against Alaska-Fairbanks (11/22).
- Nearly matched that with back-to-back efforts of 578 down the stretch, and another of 577.
2018-19 (FRESHMAN):
- Sat out the year as a redshirt, but demonstrated quality work ethic by attending and competing in every practice despite knowing the plan was for her to redshirt the campaign.
PRIOR TO UTEP:
- Introduced to competitive shooting through her older brother when he was in high school.
- The interaction led to her falling in love with the sport and starting to compete through JROTC at Theodore Roosevelt High School.
- Learned all the basics through the sporter rifle, then moved up to precision rifle halfway through her freshman year.
- Qualified as a team to Army Nationals in Anniston, Ala., for three consecutive years.
- In 2016 she placed 12th out of 92 shooters, which helped lead her team to third place in addition to qualifying to All Service Nationals.
- Aided her squad to snagging first place in multiple competitions in San Antonio, Texas.
- Competed in JROTC for four years, while also serving as the Battalion Commander 2017-2018 and Battalion Adjutant 2016-2017.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Richard and Sonmi Windle … majoring in accounting.
