- Ran a 24:58.04 in the 8k at the Conference USA Championships.
- Opened season at Lobo Invitational in the 5k, posting a 16:08.49.
- Registered a 32:43.0 in the 10k at the NCAA Mountain Regionals.
- Ran the 5-mile (25:27.85) at the Joe Piane-Notre Dame Invitational.

PERSONAL: Full name Boaz Kipogei Ronoh ... son to Hillary Kosgei Kiprono and Jane Biwott ... has two family members that compete professionally in long distance events for Kenya (Emmanuel Kipchirchir Kiprono and Allan Kipkorir Kiprono) ... civil engineering major.
