2020 OUTDOOR
  • Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic. 
 
2020 INDOOR (SENIOR) 
  • Named All-Conference USA first team in the 400m and 4x400m relay.
  • Named All-C-USA second team (200m).
  • Clocked in a personal-best 46.42, claiming gold in the 400m at the C-USA Championships.
  • Part of the first-place 4x400m relay team, posting a time of 3:12.18 at the conference championships.
  • Clocked a personal-best 21.37 in the 200m to capture silver at the C-USA Championships.
  • Named the C-USA Track Athlete of the Week on Jan. 28 after finishing third in the 400m with a time of 46.51 at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational.
  • Ran with the 4x400m relay team at the MLK Invite, finishing second with a time of 3:14.69.
  • Won gold in the 400m, clocking in a time of 46.37 at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic.
  • Finished in first place in the 400m, recording a 46.46 at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational.
  • Placed second in the 600y, recording a time of 1:09.95 at the Texas Tech Corky Classic.

2019 OUTDOOR (JUNIOR)
  • Tallied a trio of first-place finishes in the 400m.
  • Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 400m.
  • Named All-America second team 
  • Won the 400m (45.54) at the Desert Heat Classic.
  • Named the Conference USA Outdoor Male Athlete of the Week (April 30) following performance at the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson, Ariz.
  • Sprinted out to first-place finish, clocking a time of 21.10 (w: 1.4) in the 200m at the UTEP Springtime.
  • Clocked in a season-best 45.19 at the NCAA West Prelims (400m), finishing in fourth place.
  • Registered a first-place finish in the 400m (47.36) at the UTEP Springtime.
  • Crossed the finish line first at the Bryan Clay Invitational in the 400m (46.04).
  • Competed in the 4x100 relay at the Bryan Clay Invitational. 

2019 INDOOR (JUNIOR) 
  • Clocked in a career-best 22.02 in the 200m at the Conference USA Championships.
  • Registered a career-best 46.86 to claim first place in the 400m at the New Mexico Don Kirby.
  • Finished second, while tallying a career-best time of 1:10.07 in the 600m.
  • Finished in third place (46.89) in 400m at the C-USA Indoor Championships.
  • Placed fourth in the 400m (47.61) at the Texas A&M Triangular.
  • Placed third (3:21.42) in the 4x400 relay a the New Mexico Classic. 

WESTERN TEXAS COLLEGE (2017-2018) 
  • Holds the NJCCA record in the indoor 400m (46.08).
  • Has five NJCCA titles while at Western Texas College, including two in the 4x400m relay.
  • Ran a personal best in the 400m (45.24), winning the Texas Tech Masked Rider Invite.
  • Recorded two gold-medal finishes in the 400m and 4x400m at the 2018 NJCAA Outdoor Championships.
  • Posted a personal best of 2:00.98 in the 800m at the 2018 ACU Wes Kittley Invitational.
  • Claimed two gold medals at the 2018 NJCAA Indoor Championships.
  • Earned bronze at the 2017 NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 400m.
PRIOR TO COLLEGE
  • Bronze medal winner in the 4x400m relay at the 2016 World U-20 Championships.

PERSONAL: Full name Sean Donovan Bailey … born in Mandeville, Jamaica … son to Paul and Pamela Bailey … has two brothers and three sisters … sister is sprinter Veronica Campbell-Brown, who competed at the University of Arkansas, and is an eight-time Olympic medalist ... multidisciplinary studies major.
