C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll (2021)
KANSAS (2016-2020)
- Captured gold in the pole vault after posting a personal-best 5.47m (17-11.25) at the 2017 Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships.
- Claimed gold in the pole vault, leaping 5.40m (17-8.5) at the 2017 KSU Ward Haylett Invite.
- Placed first with a 5.23m (17-1.75) leap in the pole vault at the 2017 Jayhawk Classic.
PERSONAL: Son of Paul and Rita Benevides ... has three younger sisters ... sister, Bella, is a redshirt freshman with the UTEP soccer team ... father, Paul, was a four-year letter in pole vault at UTEP and went to compete professionally where he held the Mexican national record for 12 years ... mother was a five-time UTEP All-American and still the school record holder in the 3,000m outdoor.
