Madison Hill joined the UTEP beach volleyball coaching staff (Aug. 2026) following the conclusion of a historic playing career with the Miners. A member of the program’s inaugural roster in 2023, Hill helped lay the foundation for UTEP Beach Volleyball while becoming the program’s all-time leader in individual wins with 47 victories.
Hill’s career on the sand saw her rise through the lineup, beginning on court five as a sophomore before becoming one of UTEP’s top-pair competitors during her final two seasons. She finished her career with 47 individual wins, the most in program history.
As a sophomore in 2023, Hill posted a 7-16 individual record while competing across courts four and five, establishing a team-best seven wins. She followed with a breakout 2024 season, recording a 14-11 mark on court two.
In 2025, Hill compiled a 13-16 record while competing on courts one and two, including an 11-6 mark on court two. She played a pivotal role in one of the biggest moments in program history, helping UTEP secure its first-ever postseason victory with a sweep over Jacksonville State on court one at the 2025 Conference USA Beach Volleyball Championship.
Hill capped her playing career in 2026 with a 13-15 record while competing on courts one and two. She opened the season with a perfect 4-0 record on court two before moving up to court one for the remainder of the season.
A standout both on and off the court, Hill earned numerous academic honors throughout her career, including four Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll selections (2023-26), four Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal honors (2023-26) and four Conference USA All-Academic Team selections (2023-26). She was also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team in 2026.
Hill was a two-time recipient of the Thomas Howard Walk-On Student-Athlete Award (2023, 2025), earned the Dr. Louis Robbins Award for Academic Excellence as UTEP’s top senior GPA recipient in 2025 and was named the UTEP Golden Pick Awards Team MVP in 2025.
A native of El Paso, Texas, Hill now brings her experience, leadership and knowledge of the program to the coaching staff as she helps guide the next generation of Miner beach volleyball student-athletes.
