2019 (SENIOR)

• Competed in seven events.
• Named to the 2019 All-Conference USA first team.
• Placed fourth at the C-USA Championships, posting a 17:08.60 in the 5k.
• Opened the season with a third-place finish at the Lobo Invitational, clocking in an 18:14.81 in the 5k.
• Ran a personal-best 17:14.67, placing fifth in the 4.7km at the Lori Fitzgerald Memorial.
• Ran a 20:17.1 in the 6k at the NCAA Mountain Regionals
• Advanced to the NCAA National Championships, clocking in a 21:42.4 in the 6k.
• Placed sixth (17:18.83) in the 5000m at the Joe Piane-Notre Dame Invitational.
• Ran the 6k at the Pre-National Invitational, placing eighth with a time of 21:11.9. 

2018 (JUNIOR)

• Claimed the 2018 C-USA Cross Country Championship individual crown in the 5K with a time of 16:56.12.
• Registered a personal best of 16:51.54 at the Joe Piane Invitational in the 5K.
• Posted back-to-back third-place finishes at the Lobo Invitational and Lori Fitzgerald.
• Finished tenth at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships in the 6K with a personal best of 20:05.1.
• Earned all-regional honors.
• Clocked in at 21:06.6 in the 6K at the NCAA Championships.
• Named C-USA Female Athlete of the Week (Oct. 2).

2017 (SOPHOMORE)

• Ran a personal best of 17:43.8 in 5K at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational.
• Took third place at the NMSU Kachina Classic with a time of 17:43.88 in the 5K.
• Claimed third place at Lori Fitzgerald with a time of 17:57.9 (4.7K).
• Earned All-C-USA third team honors at the C-USA Championships with a time of 17:55.12.
• Clocked in a personal best of 21:11.5 in the 6K at the Adidas D1 Pre Nationals.
• Finished the 6K at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships with a time of 21:30.8

2016 (FRESHMAN)

• Racked up four top-25 finishes
• Best finish was at the Kachina Classic with a 5K time of 17:56.86 for third place.
• At the Lori Fitzgerald Classic, crossed the line for sixth-place (18:23.7).
• Ran a personal-best in the 6K at the NCAA Mountain Regional meet to come in 55th (21:38.5).
• Helped the Miners garner a first place title at the UNM Lobo Invite with a 5K readout of 19:26.7 (44th).
• At the NCAA Pre Nationals she cruised in at 21st-place (21:45.7) to propel the women’s team to fourth overall.

PERSONAL: Full name is Linda Jepchirchir Cheruiyot ... daughter of Francis and Pauilne Cheruiyot ... has two brothers and two sisters ... born in Eldoret, Kenya ... occupational therapy major.
