McNac Bio Action 2010 (SENIOR): Started all 12 games in the offensive line, helping the Miners earn a bid to the New Mexico Bowl ... earned honorable mention All-Conference honors.

2009 (JUNIOR): Reserve guard appeared in the first two games of the season before missing the rest of the campaign with an ankle injury.

2008 (SOPHOMORE): Played in all 12 games as a backup guard.

2007: Redshirted.

2006 (FRESHMAN): Pulled from redshirt for the last nine games of the season ... started the final four contests at left guard.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Rated a top-100 player in the Dallas/Fort Worth area by The Dallas Morning News ... three-year starter in the offensive line for the Lancaster High School varsity team ... played left guard as a sophomore and junior, and right guard as a senior ... two-time first team All-District 14-4A choice (2004, 2005) ... honorable mention All-State as a senior ... high school coach was Andrew Jackson ... honor roll student.
