2013 C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll

2016 (SENIOR): Played in all 12 games, making six starts … totaled a career-best 32 tackles (six solo) … added 1.0 tackle for loss, a quarterback sack, a forced fumble and four quarterback hurries … registered a career-high eight tackles against Army … notched five tackles and a forced fumble at LA Tech … notched five more stops against FIU … tallied three tackles and 0.5 sack against Southern Miss and three more stops with another 0.5 sack and hurry versus Old Dominion … recorded three tackles and a hurry at no. 11 Texas … tallied a tackle and a hurry during a win against rival NM State … registered a solo tackle at Florida Atlantic with a hurry and another tackle at Rice … recorded a stop during a dominant win against North Texas.

2015 (JUNIOR): Played in eight games on special teams and defense … recorded four tackles … opened the season with two assisted tackles versus Arkansas … also posted tackles against Texas Tech and FAU.

2013 (FRESHMAN): Saw action on the scout team.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Garnered second team All-District 5A accolades as a senior at Nimitz High School in Houston ... named to the 2011 All-Madden Team and received an invitation to the IMG All-Madden Camp in Bradenton, Fla. ... registered 42 tackles, including 12.5 for losses, to go with 7.5 sacks and three forced fumbles in 2011 ... participated in the Nike SPARQ Combine at Woodforest Stadium in Houston in March of 2011 ... was one of more than 750 athletes who took part in the combine, but one of only 25 to be named to the Houston All-Nike Combine Team ... participated in the FBU Camp in Houston and nominated to the "Top Gun" Camp in Virginia ... also took part in the Houston Texans Camp ... two-year varsity letterman, playing for coaches Robert Toomer and Steven Hohenberger ... team captain and received the football team's academic award ... also ran track, competing in the 4x400 relay ... had numerous academic honors throughout his high school career and was involved with community service ... had a 3.8 GPA.
