2012 (FRESHMAN): Played in 11 games for the Miners as a true freshman ... came on strong with 10 of his 13 tackles in the final two contests of the campaign ... made a career-high six stops in 34-33 road conquest of Southern Miss ... preserved the win by intercepting the go-ahead two-point conversion try by the Eagles in the waning moments of the game ... all six tackles in that contest were of the solo variety ... had four tackles against Rice ... posted his first career pass break-up versus UCF.
