PRIOR TO UTEP: Played 2016 season at Western New Mexico … caught a pass for three yards and returned four punts for 60 yards and a long return of 37 yards … produced 2,229 yards on 134 receptions and 17 touchdowns in three varsity seasons at Eastwood High School … tallied 1,050 yards on 76 catches and seven scores during senior campaign … efforts helped Troopers to a 9-3 overall mark for former Miner and current EHS head coach Julio Lopez … opened senior campaign with 101 yards on five catches (20.2 avg.) during a win against Chapin … registered career-high 138 yards on 10 catches against Americas … produced career-best 12 receptions for 126 yards and a score in a victory against Carlsbad … put up 135 yards on eight catches against Lamar … hauled in 10 receptions for 118 yards and a score during a playoff win against Frenship … tallied 659 yards on 34 catches (19.4 avg.) and seven scores during junior season (2014) and 520 yards on 24 receptions (21.7 avg.) and a trio of touchdowns during sophomore campaign (2013).
