2014 C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll

2014 (SOPHOMORE): Played in three contests ... registered a one-yard touchdown run against NM State.

2013 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in two contests ... threw for 55 yards on 3-of-3 passing at Tulane.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Texas Top-300 Player by Dave Campbell's Texas Football magazine ... three-year varsity member, starting every season... received a grade of 73 from Scout.com ... broke eight of The Colony's nine quarterback records ... was an honorable mention All-District 4A performer his final two years ... completed 55 percent of his passes for 2,271 yards and 23 touchdowns as a senior ... also rushed for about 500 yards ... averaged 7.0 yards per carry ... participated in the All-American combine following his junior season and the FBU camp in July, 2011 ... offensive player of the year as a sophomore ... two-time member of the A/B honor roll ... participated in the Heroes program, speaking at local elementary schools ... was part of an FCA bible group on Fridays.
