PRIOR TO UTEP: Two-year varsity starter ... completed 55.3% of his passes (166-300) for 2,035 yards and 15 TDs during his career ... big senior season with 1,455 yards and 12 TDs ... also rushed for 120 yards, including three TDs, on 39 carries in 2013 ... connected on 13-of-18 tries for a season-high 271 yards and a TD against rival Keller Central ... threw for 235 yards, on 17-of-31 attempts, with three TDs against Halton ... selected to the U18 2013 USA National Football Team.

PERSONAL:Full name is Hunter Lawrence McEachern ... son of Brad and Debbie McEachern ... his father, was a four-year (1981-84) letterman as a QB and TE at UTEP ... had an uncle who was a QB at Texas and another who was a RB at TCU ... his grandfather was a LB at TCU ... has one brother and two sisters ... born in Keller, Texas ... kinesiology major.
