PRIOR TO UTEP: Tabbed first team All-Conference in 2006 at Mount San Jacinto (Calif.) Community College ... led the Eagles with 17 quarterback pressures while adding 40 tackles, eight sacks, three forced fumbles, five pass break-ups and an interception ... helped the Eagles to an 8-3 mark in 2005 and a 7-3 campaign in 2006 ... junior college coach was Mike Green ... played quarterback at August Martin High School in Jamaica, N.Y. ... earned All-Queens honors his junior year ... three-year varsity letterwinner for coach Ed Carberry.

PERSONAL: Parents are Herb and Deborah Boyce ... has one brother ... born 7/30/85 (Queens, N.Y.) ... multidisciplinary studies major.
