2008 (SOPHOMORE): Played in four games, but did not have any statistics on special teams ... earned a spot on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll for posting a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Three-year standout at Eastwood High School for coach Wade Ardoin ... played on both sides of the ball, seeing action at safety, running back, receiver and quarterback ... honorable mention All-State free safety and third team All-District wide receiver as a senior ... 155 career tackles, to go with 10 interceptions, five fumble recoveries and two quarterback sacks ... had 45 catches, including two grabs for TDs ... rushed for 709 yards on 100 carries ... second team All-District accolades as a junior for QB and FS ... four-year letterwinner in track and field, earning All-State distinction in the 4x100 and 4x400 relays ... second team All-District performer in basketball ... member of the National Honor Society.
