PRIOR TO UTEP: Transferred from New Mexico Military Institute ... helped NMMI to the Heart of Texas Bowl in 2011 ... two-time All-District and All-City choice at Canutillo HS, playing right guard and nose guard ... member of two district championship squads (freshman and sophomore year) ... three-year varsity starter for coach Scott Brooks.
