2016 C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll

2018 (SENIOR): Played in the first four games of campaign before redshirting the remainder of the season … started against Northern Arizona in the season opener … caught two passes for five yards … rushed four times for nine yards … registered a four-yard reception against NAU … recorded a three-yard run at UNLV … rushed two times for six yards and recorded a one-yard reception at Tennessee. 

2017 (JUNIOR): Saw action in all 12 games, making five starts … registered 14 receptions for 163 yards (11.6 avg.) and a pair of touchdown receptions … completed only pass, a 38-yard toss … one of only five Miners since 1998 to throw a touchdown, rush for a touchdown and catch a touchdown during a career … registered career highs in receptions (six), receiving yards (67) and long reception (40 yards) against Rice … recorded first collegiate receiving score against WKU on a 15-yard reception … hauled in a 33-yard score against LA Tech … threw a 38-yard pass and caught a nine-yard pass against Arizona … recorded 25 yards on a pair of receptions at Southern Miss. 

2016 (SOPHOMORE): Played in all 12 games, making lone start under center at no. 11 Texas … overall threw for 131 yards on 12-of-21 passing with a touchdown and an interception … added 11 receptions for 95 yards and 42 rushing yards … hurled a 74-yard touchdown (UTEP season-long) after a Ryan Metz lateral pass during a 5OT victory at UTSA … opened the campaign with 41 all-purpose yards, including 26 yards on a pair of receptions during a victory against rival NM State … registered career highs in receptions (three) receiving yards (32) and longest catch (27) at Rice … recorded 28 yards on two catches during a victory against Houston Baptist.

2015 (FRESHMAN): Played in nine contests as a true freshman …
saw action at quarterback and tailback … threw for 218 yards on 27-of-53 passing, three touchdowns and zero interceptions … added 209 rushing yards and a rushing score … opened collegiate career at Arkansas, completing both attempts for seven yards … tallied a season-high 107 yards passing, including a season-best 58-yard completion and a touchdown pass at FIU … threw an 11-yard score against LA Tech … ran for a career-best 75 yards on 16 carries, including a five-yard touchdown run during a victory at North Texas in the season finale … added a 32-yard touchdown toss against the Mean Green … gained 40 yards on nine carries during UTEP’s come-from-behind win at rival NM State. 

PRIOR TO UTEP: Played four varsity football seasons for the Trojans and led team to an 11-2 record as a senior ... as a senior threw for 2,000 yards, 17 touchdowns and only three interceptions, and ran 182 times for 1,555 yards and 23 scores ... led Mayfield to the second consecutive state championship game against Rio Rancho, rushing for 137 yards and throwing for three touchdowns ... set the school record in total offense yards for a season with 3,555 and most yards per carry (8.52) ... named the Academy Sports Right Stuff Player to Watch after accounting for 372 total yards and five touchdowns against Franklin ... rushed for 182 yards and two scores while throwing for 101 yards and a touchdown in victory over Las Cruces ... opened the playoffs with a victory over Clovis, completing 17 of 20 passes for 265 yards ... earned multiple spots in the Mayfield record book, becoming the all-time career rushing leader with 4,081 yards and the all-time total offense leader with 7,831 yards ... led the team to the 2013 5A State Championship ... during junior season passed for 1,093 yards, 10 touchdowns, and rushed for 1,714 yards and 14 scores ... in 2012 ran for a total of 812 yards and 11 touchdowns and tallied 850 passing yards, 12 scores and one interception ... was named back-to-back District Offensive Player of the Year and was a two-time All-District first team honoree ... garnered 2014 All-State second team, 2013 All-State first team and 2012 All-State honorable mention recognition... as a rookie was named Las Cruces Sun News Newcomer of the Year and earned a spot on the All-District second team ... also played varsity basketball for the Trojans.
