2011 C-USA Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll

2013 (JUNIOR): Started all 12 games at right guard ... played on an offensive line that paved the way for UTEP to gain 2,216 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground ... Miners[apos] rushing offense ranked fourth in Conference USA.

2012 (SOPHOMORE): Started all 12 games at right guard ... efforts helped UTEP running backs and quarterbacks gain over 1,700 yards with 13 touchdowns on the ground.

2011 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in five contests for the Miners as a reserve center.

2010: Redshirted.

PRIOR TO UTEP: First team All-District 14-5A offensive lineman as a junior and senior at Conroe High School ... first team All-District defensive lineman as a senior ... played offensive guard and defensive tackle during his prep career ... regarded as a top-100 area player by the Houston Chronicle ... rated one of the top-150 defensive end prospects in the country by Scout.com ... All-County choice on defense as a junior and offense as a senior ... coached by Roger Holtkamp at Conroe HS, where he was a three-year varsity letterwinner ... also a member of Conroe[apos]s wrestling and track & field teams ... finished in the top-eight in the state while wrestling at 285 pounds.
