Strange Bio Action 2009 (JUNIOR): Filled a reserve role in the Miner secondary with two tackles in five games.

2008 (SOPHOMORE): Contributed four tackles in nine games as a reserve ... had single stops against Texas, UCF, Southern Miss and East Carolina ... also returned a kickoff versus Rice.

2007 (FRESHMAN): Reserve DB who competed in three games, registering one tackle.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Split time at running back and defensive back at Cathedral City High School ... rushed for 1,065 yards on 159 carries in 2006, averaging 106.5 yards per game, while scoring 12 touchdowns ... had six 100-yard rushing games as a senior, including compiling 185 yards on 14 attempts against Indio High School ... amassed 23 tackles and an interception on defense ... also averaged 26.8 yards on five kickoff returns ... first team All-League as a sophomore, junior and senior ... team MVP for four straight years ... high school coach was Mitch Donnelly ... four-year letterwinner in track and field and three-year letterwinner in basketball ... first team All-League point guard ... honor roll student.
