PRIOR TO UTEP: Played four years on the varsity squad at Faith Christian High School … rushed for 2,097 yards on 264 carries (7.9 avg.) and 23 total touchdowns in 24 career contests … racked up 1,265 yards on 165 rushes (7.7 avg.) and 15 rushing scores during junior season (2013) … rushed for 824 yards on 97 attempts (8.5 avg.) and seven touchdowns during senior campaign … opened final season with a career-high 231 yards on 10 carries during a dominating 79-32 win against Immanuel Christian … hit 100-plus yards in 11 games during career … chipped in with 112 total tackles (99 solo) and 5.0 sacks during career on the defensive side … registered 60 stops and 5.0 sacks in 2014.
