Biography

2021 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR)
  • Led the Miners with 844 rushing yards on 159 carries (5.3 avg.).
  • Averaged 65.0 yards per game with six rushing TD’s
  • Caught 11 passes totaling 158 yards (14.4 avg).
  • Rushed for 100+ yards on three occasions.
  • 10th in C-USA in yards per rush.
  • Played in all 13 games, making nine starts.
  • Rushed 11 times for 74 yards and a TD in the season opener at NM State.
  • Picked up his first 100-yard game as a Miner with 19 carries for 126 yards and a score versus Bethune-Cookman.
  • Rushed for a career-high 159 yards on 18 attempts and a TD at Southern Miss.
  • Logged three straight games with 80+ yards rushing late in the year versus UTSA (16-83-0), North Texas (17-85-1) and Rice (9-119-0).
  • Hauled in a career-long 65-yard reception and registered a career-long 74-yard rush against Rice; rushed for 119 yards on nine attempts while logging 184 yards of all-purpose yards against the Owls. 
  • Rushed for 40 yards and scored a touchdown against Fresno State at the New Mexico Bowl; added three catches for 46 yards.

2020 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR)
  • Saw action in six games for the Miners. 
  • Had 42 carries for 190 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. 
  • Averaged 4.5 yards per carry and 31.7 rushing yards per game. 
  • Picked up his first career rushing touchdown against Abilene Christian (9/19).

2019 (JUNIOR)
  • Did not see action after suffering a season-ending injury during fall camp.
  • Earned a medical redshirt.

2018 (SOPHOMORE)
  • Saw action in 11 games on special teams.
  • Recorded four tackles (two solo).
  • Registered a pair of tackles at LA Tech.
  • Tallied a tackle at UTSA and at WKU. 

2017 (FRESHMAN)
  • Played in two games, rushing for 13 yards in those two appearances.
  • Rushed for eight yards, with a long run of six yards, on a pair of carries at No. 7 Oklahoma.
  • Gained five yards rushing at Southern Miss.

PRIOR TO UTEP
  • Played three seasons of varsity football.
  • Compiled 1,722 rushing yards on 277 carries, 1,865 all-purpose yards and 12 total touchdowns in last two seasons at Frenship.
  • During senior campaign, totaled 1,525 all-purpose yards and nine touchdowns.
  • Led the district in rushing with 1,382 yards while helping the Tigers conclude the season 7-4 and 3-1 in league play.
  • Was the team's leading rusher in eight games.
  • Saw the field four times as a junior, while racking up 340 rushing yards on 43 carries and three touchdowns.
  • Named 2015 6A All-District 2 Offensive Player of the Year, 2015 6A All-State honorable mention, 2014 All-District 2-6A first team and 2013 4-4A All-District second team.
  • A two-star recruit according to Rivals.com.
