2020 (REDSHIRT SENIOR)
  • Played all eight games for the Miners, while making seven starts at linebacker. 
  • Was the team's top tackler, registering 62 total stops (29 solo) and 5.0 tackles for loss (14 yards). 
  • Added one sack for six yards that came in UTEP's road win over ULM. 
  • Recorded a fumble on the road at UTSA. 
  • Registered a career-high 12 tackles (5 solo) at UTSA.
  • Had at least five total tackles in every single game. 

2019 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR)
  • Inserted into the starting lineup late in the season and made the most of his opportunity, with 19 of his 24 tackles coming over the final three outings.
  • Ended the campaign with 24 stops, 3.5 tackles for losses, a sack and quarterback hurry.
  • Posted a season-high 11 stops (10 solo) in his first career starting assignment at UAB.
  • Also had two tackles for losses, a sack and a quarterback hurry against the Blazers.
  • Added seven tackles at NM State.  

2018 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE)
  • Played in 10 games as a redshirt sophomore for the Miners.
  • Registered a previous career-high seven tackles with a quarterback hurry at LA Tech.

2017 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)
  • Played in three games for the Miners.

2016 (FRESHMAN)
  • Saw action in three contests after returning from injury.
  • Recorded three tackles, including tying a career high with two tackles against Southern Miss.
  • Added a solo stop at LA Tech.
  • Redshirted this season.

2015 (FRESHMAN)
  • Played in the first two games as a true freshman before suffering a season-ending injury.
  • Opened the season with two tackles at Arkansas.
  • Earned a medical redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL
  • Started all four seasons on the varsity squad at Dallas Christian HS.
  • Recorded 99 tackles (71 solo / 28 assists), 26 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, seven forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and five blocked kicks during senior season.
  • Opened the 2013 season with a career-best five sacks against Dallas HSAA North.
  • Returned a fumble 22 yards for a touchdown in a 48-10 victory over Shelton High School.
  • Registered eight quarterback hurries twice in 2013 (vs. Parish Episcopal & Ft. Worth Christian).
  • Named district MVP, first team All-State and first team All-District after senior season.
  • During junior season (2012), recorded 111 tackles (70 solo / 41 assists), 22 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, five forced fumbles and five blocked kicks.
  • Named first team All-District, first team All-State and District Defensive Lineman of the Year.
  • Tallied 48 stops (21 solo / 27 assists) in sophomore season (2011) and set career-high with 12 tackles (5 solo / 7 assists) during a 38-10 win over Regents High School.
  • Posted four sacks and 25 tackles (18 solo / 7 assists) as a freshman (2010).
  • Made impact during first season with two games registering 10 tackles or more, while setting a season-high with 11 stops (nine solo) versus Trinity Christian.
  • Three-time SportsDay HS Defensive Player of the Week honorable mention.
  • TAPPS D-11 District 2 Defensive MVP, All-District defensive lineman first team, All-State defensive lineman first team and Academic All-State.
  • Chargers recorded a 12-1 record in 2013 and won the TAPPS 3-III District title.

Son of Herschel and Cindy Forester ... Has three brothers … Brother, Joshua, is a sophomore defensive back with the Miners … Grandfather, Herschel Forester, played at SMU (1949-51) and for the Cleveland Browns (1954-57) … Bill Forester, brother of Herschel, played at SMU (19050-52) and for the Green Bay Packers (1953-63) … Bill was named to the Pro Bowl five times and is in the Packers Hall of Fame ... Pursuing a Master's in Leadership Studies.
