2008 (SOPHOMORE): Credited with one solo tackle versus SMU.

2007 (FRESHMAN): Registered two tackles in the triumph against Texas Southern in his lone action of the year.

PRIOR TO UTEP: First team All-District running back and punter as a senior at Clint High School in El Paso ... also garnered All-City honors at running back after compiling 786 yards on 78 carries with 23 touchdowns ... played in the El Paso County High School All-Star Game ... second team All-District running back as a junior, rushing 73 times for 550 yards with 13 TDs ... averaged 47 yards per punt as a senior ... three-year varsity letterwinner for coach Rosvel Martinez ... also competed in baseball, basketball and track ... regional qualifier in the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, triple jump and 4x200 relay ... finished third in the 100 hurdles at the regional meet ... earned Academic All-State honors his senior year.
