PRIOR TO UTEP:Played and started two seasons as a tight end for the Tigers ... earned 2013 All-District first team honors after hauling in 15 receptions for 275 yards and five touchdowns ... guided Katy to a 15-1 season, a District 19-5A title, and no. 5 in the MaxPreps Texas Top 25 Rankings ... was named 2013 All-District Player ... registered five games with 30 or more receiving yards ... recorded a 44-yard score in the state championship game against Cedar Hill ... scored two touchdowns for 39 yards in a 49-7 victory over Strake Jesuit ... in 2012 played in 10 games and compiled 247 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Tigers to a state title.
