Norma Posada is in her 26th season as a member of the UTEP Football Staff, serving as special assistant and primary contact for head coach Scotty Walden. Norma oversees all facets of the day-to-day administrative operations for the Football Department, Strength & Conditioning Department, and Sports Medicine Department.
An El Paso native and Riverside High School graduate, Norma received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from UTEP in the spring of 2010. She received the UTEP President's Staff Scholarship Award in 2005.
She and her husband, Mike, have been married for 32 years. They have two daughters -- Cynthia Adame, a 2005 UTEP graduate who added a second degree in 2010 from the university’s "Fast Track" nursing program, and Naomi Posada, a 2022 UTEP Summa Cum Laude graduate and 2025 Mental Health Counseling masters graduate interning as a Practicum Trainee with UTEP Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).
Outside of work, Norma enjoys spending time with family especially watching her two granddaughters, Amariah and Evelyn, play League and Tournament Softball.
