- Three-star standout (247Sports) and a slashing wing with Mt. Zion Prep
- Keeping the pipeline from the prep school to UTEP alive, with Omar Frazier III, Elijah Jones and Devon Barnes having also passed through Mt. Zion Prep before ultimately landing in the Sun City
- Stuffed the stat sheet with nine points, seven rebounds, three assists and a rebound in an 81-70 vanquishing of Golden State Prep at the Myrtle Chaffin Classic
- Poured in 19 points to help his team (P.A.P.A.) pull off a 69-49 win against Sparc-McLinton in a playoff game on Aug. 4, 2024, in the prominent Kenner Summer League in Washington, D.C.
- That contest featured players from Georgetown (Malik Mack), Fordham (Kyle Rose), George Mason (Jalen Haynes) and Indiana (Xavier Johnson)
- Had nine points in the first 10 minutes and a game-high 14 in the opening frame, including a monster jam with 13 seconds left in the stanza

- Chose UTEP over Jax State and Binghamton while previously holding offers from East Carolina, George Mason, Mississippi State and others
