Evan Eustachy

Evan Eustachy took over as UTEP's Director of Basketball Operations for the 2016-17 season. Eustachy was a basketball operations assistant with the Miners from 2014-16.

He handles a number of behind-the-scenes and operational duties, including scouting, coordinating team travel and directing the team summer camps.

He also works with the coaching staff, support staff, compliance office, Miner Athlete Academic Center and facilities department to coordinate day-to-day functions and promotion of the program. He is responsible for the team's equipment needs, oversees the program's student manager team and assists with the coordination of the Miner Legends Program.

Eustachy came to El Paso after serving as a student assistant at Colorado State from 2012-14. He was also a basketball camp coordinating assistant at Iowa State during the summer of 2011.

The Ames, Iowa native received his Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts from Colorado State in 2016.

Eustachy's father, Larry, was a former assistant coach to Tim Floyd at Idaho and is currently the head coach at Colorado State.
