Rich Paquiot

Rich Paquiot will enter his first season as a graduate assistant with the basketball program. 

Paquiot is a 2017 graduate from the University of Florida where he served as a manager for four years with the Gators’ men’s basketball program. Paquiot was a manager under then-head coach Billy Donovan for one season.

He played high school basketball at Miami Central High School prior to enrolling at Florida.

Paquiot had the opportunity to work with his mentor Irv Roland (current Houston Rockets player development coach). Roland’s training is referred to as “Blueprint Basketball”. Paquiot assisted Roland with working out Rockets’ NBA All-Star James Harden, and current Los Angeles Lakers Rajon Rondo and Michael Beasley. Other NBA players on that list include Hassan Whiteside (Miami Heat), Brandon Knight (Rockets), Joe Johnson, Jeff Green (Washington Wizards) and Josh Smith.
