C-USA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll (2017 & 2018)

2018 (JUNIOR): Played in 22 sets and participated in 10 matches for the Orange and Blue … during a match against UTSA (9/30) the defensive specialist helped negate the Roadrunners’ attack by posting 11 digs … in a victory over Incarnate Word (8/24) locked in eight digs.

2017 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 100 sets as the Miners’ starting libero … led the team with 275 digs … rated second on the team with 23 services aces … tallied 47 assists … registered a season-high 19 digs in victory over Samford … notched a career-high three services aces and added 18 digs against ACU … tallied 12 double-digit dig performances … had a team-best 18 digs in win over Rice … posted 17 digs against Texas Tech … recorded 16 digs versus Youngstown State and UTSA.

2016 (FRESHMAN): Took the court for 29 matches and had 10 starting appearances on the season …finished third on the team with 16 service aces ... recorded 150 digs, 23 assists, and a kill … registered three double-digit dig performances including a season-best 20 digs in a four-set victory over UT-Rio Grande Valley (11/3).

2015: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years at the starting outside hitter position for George McDougall High School … led the team to a gold-medal finish at the 2013 Rocky View Divisional Championship … guided the team to a second-place finish at the 2014 Championship ... participated in the 2014 3A Zones Championship where the team took silver … finished in fourth place in the 2014 Provincial Championship … named the 2013 Kodiak Classic Most Valuable Player in 2013 … nominated for U-16 Provincial Team try-out … Academic Honor Roll student … played two years of club volleyball for High Performance Elite Volleyball Club … started at the libero position both years … took silver at the 2014 U17 Provincial Championship.

PERSONAL: Full name is Nicole “Niki” Cebak …  daughter of Iveta and Jaro Cebak … born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada … her mom played division one volleyball in Slovakia and coached club volleyball … her father played division one volleyball in Slovakia … majoring in psychology.
