Biography
PRIOR TO UTEP
- Played at Texas Wesleyan the last two seasons.
- Opened his collegiate career with a victory at the Texas Intercollegiate out of 47 golfers.
- Shot 15-under par 201 (67-64-70) and was eight strokes in front of the second-place finisher.
- Named the SAC Oklahoma Ford Dealers Golf of the Week on Sept. 19, 2023.
- Had a second-place showing at the Claud Jacobs Collegiate Invitational on Feb. 26-27, 2024, shooting 3-under par 213 (72-67-74).
- Named the 2024 Sooner Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year following his successful first collegiate campaign.
- Earned recognition to the 2024 NAIA PING All-American second team.
- Efforts helped lead the Rams to a SAC championship on May 1 in Newton, Kansas, at Sand Creek Station Golf Course.
- Earned another golfer of the week recognition on Sept. 25, 2024, after placing tied for second at the Northwest Iowa National Invitational. He shot a 1-under par 212 (72-71-69).
- Finished tied for fifth at the UC Ferguson Classic after firing 6-under par 207 on Aug. 26-27, 2024.
- Overall, had finished in the top 10 in nine tournaments.
- Graduated from Aledo High School.
- Was a district and regional champion and made his third consecutive appearance at the UIL State Tournament.
