2024-25 (JUNIOR)
- Competed in one tournament.
- Played as an individual at the Los Vaqueros Intercollegiate in Cancun, Mexico.
- Shot a 19-over par 235 at the Los Vaqueros.
PRIOR TO UTEP
- Competed at Kentucky for two seasons.
- Played in 14 events during a two-year career (2022-2024) while with the Wildcats.
- As a freshman in 2022-23, teed up in 10 events, including six in the team lineup and four as an individual.
- Notched a 74.1 scoring average and carded seven par-or-better rounds and 11 team-counted rounds.
- Best finish was tied for 12th at even-par after going 71-70-75 at the Battle at Briar’s Creek.
- Named to the first-year SEC Honor Roll.
- As a sophomore in 2023-24, penciled in a 75.5 scoring average in 10 rounds.
- Tied for third, best career finish, at Indy at Forest Hills; carded a 1-over par with rounds of 72-69.
- Recognized on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.
- Finished as the 2021 Texas Junior Amateur Championship runner-up.
- The 2021 STPGA PGA Boys runner-up while being the 2020 AJGA Bob Estes Preview champion.
- Shot a career-low tournament score of 66 to win Bob Estes Preview.
- Won the 2020 Legends Tour Texas Junior Alliance while being the runner-up in 2019.
- Also played hockey and basketball in high school.
PERSONAL: Son of Brian and Luminita Watts and Joe and Debbye Beam … has one brother and one sister … father Brian Watts played golf at Oklahoma State and went on to a professional career on the PGA Tour ... pursuing MBA.
