Biography
PRIOR TO UTEP
- Clocked in a personal-best 11.69 in the women’s 100-meter dash, finishing third in the finals at the 2024 UIL 5A Area 13-14 while competing at Lancaster High School.
- Finished fourth in the 100 finals with an 11.77 at the 2024 UIL 5A Region 2 | 6A Region 1 Championships.
- Competed at the USATF Southwestern Association Junior Olympic Championships.
- Won the 2024 UIL 5 – District 14 100 finals with a 12.04.
- Crossed the line first in the 100 with an 11.74 at the 2024 Lancaster Meet of Champions.
- Clocked in a personal-best 24.54 in the 200-meter dash in the prelims at the 2024 Association Junior Olympic Championship.
- Turned in a PR time of 7.76 in the 60-meter dash in the prelims at the 2024 Carl Lewis Invitational.
- Finished first in the 100 with an 11.96 at the 2023 UIL District 14-5A Track & Field Championship.
PERSONAL: Addison Stricklin is the daughter of Derek and Adren Stricklin ... has one brother and one sister ... born in Dallas, Texas.
