Biography
PRIOR TO UTEP
- Competed long jump and triple jump at South Dakota during the 2023 indoor/outdoor season and 2024 indoor season.
- Leaped a personal-best 6.68 meters (21-11) in the indoor long jump and placed fifth at the South Dakota Kickoff.
- Posted season-best 13.61-meter (44-8) leap and placed first in the outdoor triple jump at 2023 The Monday Meet.
- Placed second in the outdoor TJ with a 13.43m (44-0.75) at the USD Tune-Up.
- Competed at U-Mary during the 2022 indoor/outdoor campaign.
- Chalked up a personal-best leap of 13.72 meters (45-0.25) in the indoor triple jump at the SDSU D2 Open.
- Finished third in the indoor TJ with a 13.40m (43-11.75) at the UND Open.
- Placed third in the indoor TJ with a 13.53m (44-4.75) at the Bison Open.
PERSONAL: Alex Damion Brown is the son of Trudy-Ann Taylor and Damion Brown … has two sisters ... born in Kingston, Jamaica ... multidisciplinary studies major.
