Anthony Rotich was a four-time national champion at UTEP and concluded his collegiate career as an 11-time All-American, four-time Conference USA Athlete of the Year, three-time C-USA All-Academic honoree and a four-time C-USA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll recipient. 

Rotich racked up 19 conference titles and won a total of 63 races in the Orange and Blue. During his track career, he notched 62 top-three finishes out of 70 races. Rotich captured three straight NCAA titles in the 3,000m steeplechase. As a sophomore, he set the school record in the steeplechase with a time of 8:21.19, claiming the NCAA crown. 

During his cross country career, Rotich notched 23 top-five showings. As a freshman the distance runner clocked in with the fourth-fastest time in the nation and a career-best of 29:13.5 in the 10K at the NCAA Championships. The Miner garnered four conference titles and led the team to back-to-back NCAA Championship appearances, including an 11th place overall team finish in 2015.
