Biography

PRIOR TO UTEP
  • Competed as a sprinter and hurdler at DeSoto High School.
  • Clocked in a season-best 13.99 in the 100-meter hurdles prelims at the 2025 UIL 6A Region II meet. 
  • Finished second in the 100H with a 14.10 at the ’25 TCU HS Invite.
  • Competed in the 4x100-meter relay, placing fourth with a 46.63 at the UIL 6A Region II meet.
  • Personal best in the 100H is a 13.88 in 2023.

PERSONAL: Cydni Martin is the daughter of Charles and Detrich Martin ... has two brothers ... born in Dallas, Texas.
