2017 Outdoor: At the UTEP Springtime clocked 8:31.93 in the 3,000m to take fifth place and notched a sixth-place showing in the 1,500m (3:57.44) … competed at the 2017 Texas Relays, placing fifth overall with a time of 9:18.57 in the 3,000m steeplechase … ran the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 9:03.31 at the Mt. SAC Relays … helped the Miners to a third-place finish by placing seventh in the 5,000m (15:23.13) and took silver in the 3,000m steeplechase (9:02.70), scoring a total of nine points … competed at the 2017 NCAA West Region Qualifier in the 3,000m steeplechase running a time of 9:22.46.
2017 Indoor: Clocked a personal-best 8:24.12 in the 3,000m at the Vanderbilt Commodore Invitational … claimed eighth-place (8:45.13) in the 3,000m and 11th place in the mile run (4:23.40) at the New Mexico Cherry & Silver … Finished the regular season at the Don Kirby Invitational in the mile run with a personal-best 4:18.95 … at the C-USA Indoor Championships ran the second leg of the DMR team (10:03.04) that captured gold and the 3,000m placing ninth overall with a time of 8:31.93.
