2024 OUTDOOR (JUNIOR)
- Competed in limited action during the outdoor season due to injury.
- Finished second with the 4x100-meter relay team, clocking in a 44.98 at the Pacific Coast Invitational.
2024 INDOOR (JUNIOR)
- Competed in the 60 at the Stan Scott Memorial (7.56, 12th) and at the New Mexico Team Open (7.50, 10th).
2023 OUTDOOR (JUNIOR)
- Named All-CUSA second team after claiming silver in the 100m, clocking in a personal-best 11.34 (0.9) at the CUSA Championships in Denton, Texas.
- Earned All-CUSA second team honors in the 4x100 after winning silver with a 44.66 at the championships.
- Completed in the 100 and 4x100 at the NCAA West Preliminaries at Sacramento State.
- Clocked in a personal-best 23.68 (0.9) in the 200m at the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson, Ariz.
- Took first in the 100 (11.48) and in the 4x100 (44.31) at the Willie Williams Classic.
- Placed first in the 100m with a 11.51 (1.1) at the 63rd Annual Mt. SAC Relays.
- Finished first in the 100m with a 11.51 (0.1) at the New Mexico Invite.
2023 INDOOR (SOPHOMRE)
- Named All-CUSA third team after claiming bronze in the 60m (7.39) at the CUSA Championships in Birmingham, Ala.
- Ran a personal-best 7.37 in the 60m at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational.
2022 OUTDOOR (SOPHOMORE)
- Received second place in the 100m dash at the Don Kirby Tailwind.
- Part of the first-place 4x100m relay team (46.01) at the Don Kirby Tailwind.
- Placed sixth in the 100m dash at the Conference USA Championships.
- Competed in the 4x400m relay at the Conference USA Championships, placed fifth (3:44.80).
2022 INDOOR (FRESHMAN)
- Ran personal bests in the 60-meter dash (7.53) and the 200-meter dash (24.64) at the New Mexico Team Open.
- Opened indoor career at the Dr. MLK Jr. Collegiate Invitational, competing in the 60 and 200.
- Also competed in the 60 and 200 at the Don Kirby Open & Elite, and Conference USA Championships.
2021 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN)
- Won silver after clocking in a personal-best 24.02 (0.9) in the 200-meter dash at the Conference USA Championships.
- Took silver after recording a personal-best 11.52 (1.40) in the 100-meter race at the C-USA Championships.
- Opened collegiate career with a first-place showing in the 4x100-meter relay (46.22) at the UTSA Invitational.
- Took third in the 100-meter dash (11.82w [2.9]) at the UTSA Invitational.
- Took gold in the 100-meter dash at the Don Kirby Tailwind Open, clocking in an 11.67 (1.7).
- Part of the 4x100 team (45.67) that took first at the Don Kirby.
- Ran with 4x100 squad that won first (46.22) at the Roadrunner Invitational.
- Competed in the 100 at the NCAA Division I West Preliminaries in College Station, Texas.
PRIOR TO UTEP
- Ran a season-best 12.18, placing third in the 100-meter dash at Central Ch., GC Foster College, Spanish Town in February 2020.
- Clocked in a season-best 25.82 in the 200 at STETHS, Santa Cruz (Jamaica) in January 2020.
- Competed in the long jump on a trio of occasions during the 2020 outdoor season, posting a season-best 5.52 at the Youngster Goldsmith Classics in February 2020.
- Won the 100 with a time of 12.31 at Youngster Goldsmith Classics, Kingston – U20 in February 2019.
PERSONAL: Denae Shanice McFarlane is the daughter of Michael McFarlane and Marjorie McLeod-McFarlane … biochemistry major.
