PRIOR TO UTEP
- Competed as a sprinter at Amarillo Palo Duro High School.
- Clocked in a personal-best 11.90, taking first place in the 100-meter dash final at the 2024 Canyon Invitational.
- Finished first in the 100 prelims (12.17) at the Canyon Invite.
- Won the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.73 at the Randall Raider Nation Relays.
- Placed first in the 200 finals with a time of 24.99 at the Canyon Invitational.
- Won the 200 final with a 24.83 at the 2023 UIL 5A District 03 Meet.
PERSONAL: Jauntai-Shay Williams is the daughter of Cynthia Williams ... born in Lubbock, Texas ... also competed in basketball and volleyball at Palo Duro High School ... psychology major.
