Biography
PRIOR TO UTEP
- Competed as a hurdler and jumper at Midlothian High School.
- Clocked in a personal-best time of 13.94, placing second in the 110-meter hurdles final at the 2025 UIL 5A District 15.
- Won the 110H at the UNT Mean Green HS Invitational with a 14.98.
- Took first place in the 110H with a 14.39 at the Midlothian Donnie Conner Panther Relays.
- Finished third in the 110H finals with a 14.35 at the 2025 UIL 5A Region II.
- Placed third in the 4x400-meter relay prelims with a season-best time of 3:20.60 at the 2025 UIL 5A Region II.
- Took first in the 110H at the 2024 Carter Eddie Payne Shootout.
PERSONAL: Kayden Gibson is the son of Kerwin and Kelly Gibson ... has one brother and one sister ... born in Arlington, Texas ... also football at Midlothian High School.
