2024 All-Conference USA Second Team (800m Outdoor)
2022 All-Conference USA First Team (800m Outdoor)
2024 OUTDOOR (SENIOR)
- Named All-Conference USA second team in the 800.
- Clocked in a 1:55.48 in the 800-meter race, claiming silver at the CUSA OTF Championships at Kidd Field.
- Competed in the 800 and 1500 at the Bobcat Invitational and Bryan Clay Invitational. Ran the 800 at the Desert Heat Classic.
2024 INDOOR (JUNIOR)
- Competed at the CUSA ITF Championships.
- Finished eighth in the 800 (1:58.28) and fifth in the DMR (10:52.04) at the indoor championships.
2023 OUTDOOR (JUNIOR)
- Competed at three meets during outdoor season.
- Place third in the 800m with a 1:52.82 at the Willie Williams Classic/Dave Murray Distance Carnival.
- Saw action in the 1500 at the New Mexico Spring Invitational.
- Competed in the 800 and 1500 at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
2023 INDOOR (SOPHOMORE)
- Ran a personal-best 2:32.72 in the 1000m at the TTU Corky Classic.
- Turned in a PR 1:21.51 in the 600 at the Dr. MLK Jr. Collegiate Invitational.
- Competed in the 800 (sixth place) and DMR (fourth place) at the CUSA Championships in Birmingham, Ala.
2022 OUTDOOR (SOPHOMORE)
- Took first place in the 800m run (1:52.91) at the Conference USA Championships.
- Achieved career best in the 1500m run (3:50.37) at the Desert Heat Classic.
- Placed first in the 1500m run (4:01.74) at the Don Kirby Tailwind.
2022 INDOOR (FRESHMAN)
- Ran a personal-best 1:54.52 in the 800-meter race preliminaries at the Conference USA Championships.
- Advanced to the 800-meter finals, and competed in the mile at the C-USA Championships.
- Set personal bests in the mile (4:19.59) and the 3000-meter race (9:03.09) at the Don Kirby Open & Elite.
2021 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN)
- Opened collegiate career with a second-place finish in the 5000-meter run, clocking in a 14:57.32 at the UTSA Invitational.
- Finished third in the 5000 (15:09.02) and fourth in the 1500 (4:03.10) at the Roadrunner Invitational
- Ran personal bests in the 5000 (14:55.25) and 10,000-meter race (30:24.76) at the Conference USA Championships.
- Clocked in a personal best 3:58.31 in the 1500 at the Don Kirby Tailwind Open.
PERSONAL: Maxwell Kiprop Kipkosgei is the son of Samuel Kipkosgei and Rachel Jepkemboi ... has three brothers and three sisters … born in Kaptagat, Kenya … industrial and systems engineering major.
